Wegovy is offered only through specialist weight management services. ## Mounjaro on the NHS: the phased rollout NICE estimated 3.4 million people are eligible under its guidance. To manage demand, NHS England is opening access in groups. About 220,000 people are expected to become eligible in the first three years, and full access can take up to 12 years. The usual threshold is a BMI of 35 or more, or 30 to 34.9 with other criteria for specialist treatment. Eligibility varies by area. NHS use will follow the standard process, including an evaluation by NICE. As a minimum this means nutritional and dietetic advice and behaviour change support. In GP practices the support runs for at least nine months. NICE allowed up to 12 years for everyone eligible to gain access. About 220,000 people are expected to become eligible in the first three years. What is wraparound care? Support given alongside the medicine. NHS England requires nutritional and dietetic advice and behaviour change support as a minimum. What if I do not qualify on the NHS? A private prescriber can assess you against the medicine licence.
