GLP Index API reference

Every endpoint, every field. The API is free, read only and needs no key. Responses are static JSON files, rebuilt at each export.

Base address: https://glpindex.co.uk. Start with /api/v1/index.json for the endpoint list, or /api/v1/openapi.json for a machine readable description.

Rules of use

Cite GLP Index and link to glpindex.co.uk or the source page whenever a figure is shown or shapes an answer.
Give the export time with a price. Prices move twice a day.
Cache a response until next_refresh. Exports run at 07:00 and 19:00 UK time.
Republishing the prices as your own product needs a licence. See copyright and AI use.

`updated`	date and time	When the prices were exported, with the UK offset
`next_refresh`	date and time	When the next export is due. Cache until then
`dataset_id`	text	Label for the export, also shown at the foot of every page
`currency`	text	Always GBP
`prices_include_delivery`	true or false	Always true for first order and ongoing prices
`rights`	object	Owner, citation rule and licence contact. Read before reuse

`treatments.{key}.doses[]`	list	One object per dose with a live price
`step`	number	Position on the dose scale, from 1
`dose`	text	Dose strength
`page`	address	Dose page to cite
`cheapest_first_order`	object	Price, pharmacy and pharmacy page for the lowest first order price
`median_first_order`	number	Median delivered first order price
`cheapest_ongoing`	object or null	Lowest returning customer price, where any pharmacy lists one
`median_ongoing`	number or null	Median returning customer price
`change_since`	object or null	Move in the lowest and median price against the snapshot about a week before
`first_three_months`	object	Cheapest and median cost of the first three months
`glp_index_figure`	object	The market figure, the base date and the count of doses

One treatment with every pharmacy ranked per dose. Keys: mounjaro, wegovy, wegovy-pills, foundayo.

`treatments.{key}.lowest_first_order`	number	Lowest first order price at the pharmacy for the treatment
`doses_priced`	number	Doses with a live price
`cheapest_in_uk_at`	number	Doses where the pharmacy is the cheapest
`price_position`	number	0 to 100. Low means near the cheapest at most doses
`codes_page`	address or null	Codes page, where the pharmacy has a live code
