Editorial policy
The rules GLP Index follows when we publish prices, codes and guidance.
Independence
- Partners get no say over price order, rank or wording.
- Every pharmacy is ranked by one rule: the delivered first order price at the dose.
- A pharmacy cannot pay to appear, to rank higher or to hide a price.
How we make money
- Some pharmacy links and codes earn us a commission when you order.
- Links which may earn a commission carry the sponsored link attribute, and pages with those links say so.
- We license the database to companies who want live feeds or republication rights.
- GLP Index shows no display advertising.
Sources and dates
- Prices come from records checked against pharmacy websites, not from pharmacy press releases.
- Every page shows the export time and the dataset ID.
- Pages link to regulators and official sources where a claim rests on them.
Codes
- Discount codes live on pages without treatment names. The pharmacy prices page links the two.
- We copy each code from a live partner page and check the exact spelling.
Language and health
- We write in plain UK English and avoid health claims.
- We give no medical advice. Treatment decisions belong to you and your prescriber.
- Our UK rules pages summarise the MHRA, NICE, the NHS and the GPhC. Every point links to the official source, with the date we checked. We add no opinion of our own.
- Rules pages are compiled by GLP Index, not by a clinician. The medical disclaimer says so.
- For side effects, dosing and safety, we point to official sources.
Corrections
- We fix errors at source, so the next export carries the fix to every page and file.
